I got back into Astronomy a few years ago. Picked up Sky @ Night Magazine by chance whilst waiting in airport lounge. I couldn't wait to get home to buy the next issue :-D Up till then my life was drifting with nothing to fill my spare time [rare thing that, having kids :-D] I'd forgotten about wanting a scope over the years, mainly down to cost. On my return from holiday I joined the Sky @ Night forum, but not long after surfing found the Stargazerlounge forum, where I have learnt more than anywhere else and have been there ever since, especially with the weather being as it is :-D. A great site & members!

Managed to save up & buy my first 'real' scope over a year ago. Looking at another planet, e.g. Saturn, put's everything in this world into perspective. The other being my two year old looking up at the evening sky once and calling me to 'come look at the Moon Daddy!' A proud moment indeed, especially as it was a slim crescent! Teach'em young :-)
