James MackayAdded: Saturday 8th of December 2007 01:55:03 PM An excellent and cheap motor for the Synta focuser that comes with many of their refractors. The unit has a variable speed knob which can be used to slow focusing down for fine focus. Easy to use and install this unit removes any focusing shakes caused by clumsy scope operators attempts to focus. There are two issues with the unit which may be peculiar to my setup but at certain angles there is an image shift when reversing focusing. Also the buttons on my unit occasionally stick slightly causing overshoot when focusing. Rating Scores
