I purchased this mount new for a little over £80 off Ebay to support my little William Optics Megrez 72 ED APO, and the two look as though they were meant for each other. A great grab and go combo with excellent easy to set-up goto: brilliant for observing between showers and clouds. This is the set up I have used most this summer due to its portability and the ease of sky-align, so much easier and quicker than the EQ6 Pro. The mount came with a Celestron 60 SLT OTA, which I didn't intend to use (I was only interested in the mount) but which I now use as an admiral white light solar scope after fitting Badder Solar film to the lens cap. Brilliant!

Solid and rugged (almost Edwardian) construction and my first "proper" scope. She is my little Russian beauty with good optics and full manual control - great for learning the sky and yet gives excellent views of most objects. I'll never let her go!

Large, a little cumbersome and requires collimating to get the best out of it. Superb for planetary amd lunar views and imaging. Construction could be of better quality and Quality Control leaves something to be desired, but still the largest scope I have owned.
